What makes it special?

I spend my mornings rushing around and the fewer steps that I can get away with in my morning skincare routine, the better. Especially when I can do it without compromising on quality. Having products like mesoestetic hydra cream are game changers when it comes to quality over quantity. I know that I can finish my routine with something that will provide high factor protection whilst also keeping my skin glowy and hydrated. This is also my go-to product after in-clinic treatments like microneedling.

Key ingredients

Ceramides are naturally occurring lipids found in the outer layer of the skin, where they play a critical role in maintaining barrier integrity and preventing water loss. There is strong clinical evidence that topical ceramides help restore barrier function, reduce transepidal water loss and improve symptoms of dry or compromised skin. Their role in improving hydration and supporting conditions such as eczema-prone or sensitised skin is well established. While they are often included in anti-ageing formulations, their most reliably supported benefit is barrier repair and hydration support.

Lactic Acid isn’t just another alphahydroxy acid (AHA). Although it does also help to gently exfoliate dead skin cells away, it’s also a moisturising ingredient. Depending on the pH and concentration it can improve how well the skin holds onto water and keep the top layers of the skin soft and hydrated.

Lupinus Albus (white lupin) Seed Extract contains peptides and other bioactive compounds that are thought to support collagen and elastin structure. Laboratory and small manufacturer-led studies suggest it may help improve skin firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines. However, independent large-scale clinical trials in topical skincare are limited, so firming and anti-ageing claims should be considered emerging rather than fully established. It is generally included in formulations targeting loss of elasticity and early visible ageing.

Application Instructions

You’ll want to give the bottle a vigorous shake and squeeze out two finger lengths of product onto your hand to apply to your face (all the way into your hairline), neck, ears and eye lids and massage in gently.

It’s normal for it to look a bit white for a couple of minutes but it’ll settle shortly unless you have very dark skin.

Depending on your skin type or how your skin is feeling on the day you may find that with the hyaluronic acid this will suffice as a light moisturiser although if your skin is feeling even slightly dry then you’ll want to moisturise first followed by this.

As with all SPF the advice is to reapply every two hours - I know that this sounds overwhelming but do try to apply as often as possible particularly if you are outdoors, have been sweating, have been in water or have towelled your face.
